Seabrook Associates has worked with the client, an up-and-coming music festival, since it was first established in 2007.
Due to the success of the festival, which has grown in size from 1000 to 4000 attendees over the last five years, its organisers decided to re-work the digital marketing of the event for 2011.
They asked us to re-brand the festival’s logo and website to make it more edgy and to emphasise British underground music. They also wanted the re-brand to be less associated with the green issues, which were part of the festival’s first brand identity.
The client also wanted the website to appeal to a target audience of 20 to 30-year-old music enthusiasts.
Achievements
We provided 2000trees with a premium re-brand – offering them three different clear directions for the logo and two for the website. We then developed the client’s preferred ideas to their specifications.
As part of this process we re-worked the festival’s core values, collaborating with it’s six organisers.
To improve the festival’s digital marketing campaigns we provided its organisers with our KnowledgeMail© software, developed KnowledgeMailer© templates and integrated social networking sites into the new website.
Seabrook Associates established a more direct identity for 2000trees giving the festival’s organisers more confidence in the brand.
The new website that we created received almost 5000 hits on the day it was launched and more than 2500 tickets for the festival (over half) were sold on the day that they went on sale.
Within the first week of the site being live it had received more than 600 likes from Facebook users.
